Van Halen's 1986 album "5150" was the band's first release with Sammy Hagar, who replaced original singer David Lee Roth after his 1985 departure, and it became the group's first album to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Named after Eddie Van Halen's home studio, the record joined Hagar's vocals to Eddie's guitar work, including the two-handed tapping technique that had influenced a generation of rock guitarists, and to the rhythm section of Alex Van Halen and Michael Anthony. The lineup went on to a series of chart-topping albums, and the "Van Hagar" era showed that a major rock band could change its lead singer and keep its commercial standing.
Condition: Promotional flat is in good condition with edge wear, corner bumps, folds near the corners.
