Additionally, the collection features a unique 1965 Australian pressing of Help!, complemented by four pivotal compilations: the Blue Album (1967-1970), Rock 'N' Roll Music (1976), Love Songs (1977), and Early Years 2 (1981), which includes rare live tracks from their 1962 Hamburg performances.
Additional Information: The Beatles' UK mono pressings from the mid-1960s are highly sought after due to their distinctive audio mixes, differing from their stereo counterparts and reflecting the band's original artistic intentions. Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.
Condition: The four compilation albums are in very good condition, showing careful handling and well-preserved surfaces. The five studio albums, including rare mono pressings and the Australian import, are in good or better condition, with typical signs of wear, aging, and storage expected in vintage vinyl collections. These may include light surface marks or shelf wear to the jackets. However, they remain a substantial, playable set for any serious collector of the Beatles.
