Offered Here: Small Faces 2013 Here Come The Nice Immediate Records Ultimate Box Set. This ultimate Small Faces collection, titled Here Come The Nice: The Immediate Years 1967–1969, is a premier box set of unparalleled provenance, having been the personal copy of legendary keyboardist Ian McLagan and sourced directly from his estate. Hand-signed by both McLagan and drummer Kenney Jones, this set remains in like-new condition and features a wealth of deluxe archival materials, including five double-sided postcards, a signed certificate of authenticity, two large-scale posters, and two fine art card stock prints by photographer Gered Mankowitz. The lot also includes the original trifold pamphlet, a comprehensive lyric book, and the 72-page hardbound book containing all four compact discs. Please note that while the interior contents are pristine and the set is otherwise complete, the four 45 RPM vinyl singles originally issued with this box set are not included in this lot and are missing from the collection.
Additional Information: "Here Come the Nice: The Immediate Years 1967-1969" captures the creative essence of The Small Faces during their time with Immediate Records. This period includes iconic tracks such as "Itchycoo Park," which was one of the first to use phasing effects in rock music. Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.
Condition: The box set is in very good condition, with pristine interior contents. The collection is complete with the exception of the four 45 RPM vinyl singles, which are missing. The included materials such as postcards, posters, fine art prints, and books show no signs of wear.
