Offered Here: Small Faces 1967 Red Tour Program With Roy Orbison. This 16-page program hails from the 1967 UK package tour featuring Roy Orbison and the Small Faces, spanning cities across England and Scotland in March and April. The tour also included performances by Paul & Barry Ryan and the Jeff Beck Group.
Additional Information: During the 1967 UK package tour, the Small Faces were riding the wave of their chart successes, having released hits like "Here Come the Nice" earlier that year. This tour highlighted a significant period in the band's career as they gained popularity in the UK.
Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.
Condition: The program is in very good condition, exhibiting common signs of age and wear consistent with a vintage item.
