Provenance / Authenticity: Roger Epperson (REAL) Letter of Authenticity
Released by Queen in late 1975, A Night at the Opera was the band's fourth studio album and its commercial breakthrough, reaching No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart and No. 4 on the Billboard 200. Its centerpiece, Freddie Mercury's "Bohemian Rhapsody," spent nine weeks at No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart, and its promotional film is often cited as a forerunner of the modern music video. Produced with Roy Thomas Baker, the album combined hard rock, ballads, music hall and operatic passages built from extensive multi-tracked vocals and Brian May's layered guitar arrangements, and it also included John Deacon's "You're My Best Friend" and Mercury's "Love of My Life."
Condition: The vintage vinyl and jacket are both in very good condition, presenting with common signs of honest wear, aging, and careful long-term storage. Discoloration is prevalent across the white cover, most noticeably around the borders and edges, alongside minor edge wear and light corner bumps consistent with its age. The original inner sleeve shows mild edge wear and light creasing but remains structurally intact. The vinyl itself displays standard superficial surface wear that does not compromise the historical display value of this monumental classic rock treasure.
