Item Details: A pristine piece of heavy metal history, this classic black denim jacket was produced by Lee and Giant Merchandising for Metallica’s legendary "Summer Shit '94" tour. This rare piece features the tour title beautifully embroidered over the left breast pocket, along with the authentic GIANT brand logo embroidered near the right cuff. Metallica's 1994 summer amphitheater run, known as the Shit Hits the Sheds tour, closed out the long touring cycle for the band's 1991 self-titled album, often called "The Black Album." That record debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and became one of the best-selling albums in American history, carrying the band from the underground thrash scene to mainstream rock radio and arena stages worldwide. After the tour, Metallica stepped away from the road to begin work on the material that would become Load, which marked a significant stylistic shift for the band.
Condition: Very good, new old stock, unworn with attached tags
