Eric Carr joined KISS in 1980 as the replacement for original drummer Peter Criss, debuting in the makeup persona of the Fox and remaining with the band through its 1983 transition to performing without makeup. His powerful drumming shaped albums such as Creatures of the Night and Lick It Up and anchored KISS through a decade of arena touring, a period when drum triggers and electronic sound reinforcement became common tools for rock drummers seeking a larger, more consistent sound in big venues. Carr died in 1991 at age 41 and is remembered by fans as a central figure of the band's 1980s era.
Condition: The rack unit appears in very good cosmetic condition, exhibiting the standard signs of road wear, ageing, and storage expected of authentic, tour-used equipment. Please note that the unit is missing its top metal cover panel and is being offered strictly as a non-tested collectible item for display or museum exhibition.
