Offered Here: KISS 1974 Kissin' Time Original Bell Sound Studios 10-Inch Acetate. An extraordinary collectible from the early years of rock legends KISS, this original 10-inch acetate features "Kissin' Time," famously known as the A-side of the first single released by the band. Pressed at Bell Sound Studios, where KISS recorded their debut album, this acetate represents a crucial turn in the band's history. The track was recorded after Casablanca Records, under the direction of Neil Bogart, urged the band to cover Bobby Rydell's 1959 hit to boost sales. Released on May 10, 1974, it was added to their debut album after reaching No. 83 on the Billboard charts. Provenance/Authenticity: This acetate originates from the private collection of Peter "Moose" Oreckinto, a pivotal member of the KISS crew who joined as Peter Criss's drum technician in 1973 and later contributed to the development of the band's early stage shows. Condition: The acetate is in very good condition considering its age, showcasing typical signs of wear, aging, and storage. Light scuffs and haze are present on the surface, with a minimal amount affecting the play area. Some small nicks are around the edges but do not impact play. SKU: MKK2001
