Offered Here: Iron Maiden 1988 Seventh Tour Crew Varsity Style Jacket

Item Details: This rare and authentic Iron Maiden 1988 "Seventh Tour of a Seventh Tour" crew varsity jacket is an incredible piece of heavy metal history. Produced by Adrian Hopkins Promotions London for the legendary Seventh Son of a Seventh Son tour, this gray and black jacket features a classic six-button front closure, premium leather sleeves, two internal front pockets, and sharp black ribbing around the neck, cuffs, and waistband. The left breast is beautifully detailed with striking purple and tan embroidery, preserving its classic vintage look. Offered in very good condition, this highly collectible crew garment is a modern size XLarge, measuring 25 inches pit-to-pit by 28 inches in length.

Released in April 1988, Seventh Son of a Seventh Son was Iron Maiden's seventh studio album and a concept record built around folklore about a seventh son born with supernatural powers. Its prominent use of keyboards and synthesizers marked a more progressive direction for the band, and it became their second album to reach No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart. The supporting tour included Iron Maiden headlining the Monsters of Rock festival at Donington Park in August 1988, and the album was the last to feature guitarist Adrian Smith before his departure, ending the lineup that had defined the band through much of the decade until his return in 1999.
