This collection includes six compact discs spanning McLagan's solo work recorded with his Bump Band from 2000 to 2014. The lot features sealed copies of "Best of British" (2000), "Rise & Shine!" (2004), "Spiritual Boy" (2006), and "Never Say Never" (2009), alongside open copies of "Here Comes Trouble" (2005) and "United States" (2014). These discs showcase McLagan’s artistry in soulful rock and roll and his tribute to former bandmate Ronnie Lane.
Additional Information: Ian McLagan was renowned for his role as a keyboardist with The Small Faces and Faces, as well as for his collaborations with prominent artists such as The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan. The albums in this collection highlight pivotal moments in McLagan's career as a solo artist and feature dedications and influences that reflect his personal and professional connections within the music industry during this period.
Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.
Condition: The compact discs are in new old stock or extremely good condition, with minimal signs of light wear and age consistent with a professionally maintained archive. The four sealed copies remain in pristine, unplayed condition, while the open copies have been carefully handled to maintain their structural and playback integrity.
