This unique offering features two personal copies of Ian McLagan’s 2000 memoir, "All The Rage," sourced directly from his estate. These are second-printing editions that served as McLagan's personal working copies, containing numerous Post-it note bookmarks and handwritten annotations. One copy includes two significant handwritten notes in pencil on the inside cover, while the second has a bold note stating, "I wouldn’t change a thing." Both books exhibit various underlined passages and marginalia throughout the text.
Additional Information: Ian McLagan was a prominent figure in the British rock scene as a founding member of The Small Faces and later The Faces. His memoir "All The Rage" provides personal insights into his life, from his early experiences in the music industry to his time with iconic bands. Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.
Condition: Both copies are in very good condition, with intact bindings and pages. The books show signs of handling typical of working copies, with Post-it notes and handwritten annotations found throughout. The covers and spines exhibit minor wear consistent with their use by McLagan.
