Offered Here: Ian McLagan 1985 Last Chance to Dance EP & Test Pressing Lot. This collection features Ian McLagan’s 1985 four-song EP, Last Chance to Dance, along with an original vinyl test pressing that includes handwritten notations by McLagan on one side of the label. The lot also includes a promotional copy of the EP’s commercial release, noted for the promotional hole punch through the sleeve. Both items originate from McLagan’s personal archive, representing his mid-1980s solo work.

Additional Information: Ian McLagan was a central figure in the rock scene during the 1960s and 70s, gaining fame as a member of The Small Faces and later The Faces. "Last Chance to Dance" was released during a prolific period for McLagan as a solo artist in 1985, following his tenure with these notable bands. The EP showcases his evolution as a musician after working with high-profile acts like The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan.

Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.

Condition: The test pressing is in very good condition, showing signs of use consistent with its role as a reference disc. The promotional EP is in exceptionally good condition, presenting only minor signs of wear, ageing, and storage. This set provides a rare opportunity to own both a developmental stage and a final promotional version of this release, with the added intimacy of the artist's own handwriting.
