Offered Here: Ian McLagan 1980 Bump in the Night Test Pressing LP. This test pressing of Ian McLagan's sophomore solo album, "Bump in the Night," was manufactured at the Presswell record plant in New Jersey on December 8, 1980. It was crafted shortly after the final acetates were approved, representing the crucial step from studio recording to retail. Originating from Ian McLagan's personal archive, this pressing is an essential part of his solo discography.

Additional Information: Ian McLagan released "Bump in the Night" in 1980, marking his continued evolution as a solo artist after his work with The Small Faces and Faces. During the early years of his solo career, McLagan aimed to carve out a distinctive sound, blending rock with roots and rhythm blues influences. Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.

Condition: The vinyl is in pristine condition, appearing virtually unplayed and maintaining its full original gloss. It is housed in a blank white sleeve with a production sheet taped to the front, detailing the full track list, song run times, and other technical data from the record label. This artifact is exceptionally well-preserved, offering high audio fidelity and direct connection to the artist's personal library.
