This yellow crew shirt is an artifact from the Rolling Stones' Some Girls tour, notably from their performance on July 8, 1978, at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois. Produced by JAM Productions, the shirt features red silkscreening on both the front and back. It measures 15 inches across the chest and 22 inches in length.
Additional Information: During the 1978 Some Girls tour, The Rolling Stones were promoting their then-new studio album 'Some Girls,' which included hits like "Miss You" and "Beast of Burden." Ian McLagan joined the Rolling Stones as a touring keyboardist during this period, contributing to the iconic live sound of the tour.
Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.
