Offered Here: Faces 1969 - 2003 Tom Wright Photo Exhibit Book and Slides. This lot features a 116-page photography exhibit book by Tom Wright from 2003, along with 27 slides capturing the band Faces in concert, and one additional miscellaneous slide.
Additional Information: Tom Wright was a renowned photographer known for his work with rock bands. His photography is acclaimed for its candid portrayal of musicians both on and off stage. The Faces, formed in 1969, were influential in the rock scene of the 1970s with members like Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood, who later joined The Rolling Stones. The photographs provide an intimate glimpse into the energetic concerts and backstage moments of the band.
Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.
