Offered Here: Beatles 1963 She Loves You/I'll Get You Fully Band Autographed Framed Swedish Single Sleeve *SLEEVE ONLY*
Item Details: This is a premier artifact from the dawn of Beatlemania featuring a fully band-autographed 1963 Swedish picture sleeve for the historic Parlophone single She Loves You, with I'll Get You on the B-side. All four members of the Fab Four—John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr—have beautifully penned their signatures in black ballpoint ink across the reverse side of the sleeve. This exceptionally rare item boasts a distinguished provenance, originating from a prestigious Christie's auction and still bearing the original Christie's tag attached to the reverse. To optimize its presentation, the front and back of the sleeve were professionally separated and matted side-by-side within a premium display measuring 17 x 23 inches. The display is anchored by a custom plaque reading: The Beatles Autographed Swedish RPM Picture Sleeve She Loves You October 24, 1963. This date aligns precisely with the band's historic late-October tour of Sweden, sparked by the single becoming their first massive breakthrough success in continental Europe. It represents an elite-tier acquisition for serious rock and roll historians and high-end music memorabilia collectors alike.
Provenance / Authenticity: Roger Epperson (REAL) Letter of Authenticity
Written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney and released in August 1963, "She Loves You" topped the UK chart and, with its "yeah, yeah, yeah" refrain, became one of the defining records of early Beatlemania. It remained the best-selling single in British history until 1977, and its success helped carry the Beatles beyond the UK, including their first foreign tour of the Beatlemania era in Sweden that October. The song's later rise to number one in the United States in 1964 was part of the wave of chart success that marked the start of the British Invasion.
Condition: The 45 has been painted and restored. The signatures were not effected. The framed presentation is in very good overall condition, exhibiting standard characteristics of careful preservation and age. The wooden frame shows minor scuffs, nicks, and common signs of handling from storage over the decades, which do not detract from the integrity of the piece. Crucially, the separated paper sleeve components secured inside the protective matting remain in extremely good condition, preserving the clarity and boldness of all four signatures.
