Offered Here: Anthrax 1986 Dan Spitz Worn Spreading the Disease World Tour Sweatshirt. This authentic 1986 tour sweatshirt, worn by lead guitarist Dan Spitz, is an emblematic piece from the iconic Spreading the Disease World Tour. The sweatshirt, a vintage Star Prints size Large, features laid-flat measurements of approximately 21 inches across the chest by 23 inches in length. Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the personal collection of Lianna Spitz, daughter of legendary original Anthrax lead guitarist Dan Spitz. Serving as the lead axeman for the band during their golden era from 1983 to 1995, and again during the highly anticipated classic lineup reunion tours from 2005 to 2008, Spitz was a primary creative force behind the band's multi-platinum and Grammy-nominated catalog. This item comes with impeccable family lineage and will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity. Condition: The sweatshirt is in remarkably good vintage condition, showing minor signs of wear, natural aging, and storage. These add to its historic character. There is a small hole in the armpit of the left sleeve and a stain near the cuff; however, the garment retains excellent structural integrity with clean graphics. SKU: LSC1004
