Motorhead Lemmy Kilmister 2004 Handwritten Note to French Biographer - Store - Backstage Auctions, Inc.

SKU # FRL1024
Category: Motorhead
Type of Collectible:  Artist / Musician Signed Items
Decade or Genre:  Metal
Price $250.00

Jaak Geerts was the biographer who translated Lemmy's autobiography in French in 2004. Geerts wrote a lengthy e-mail to Motorhead's management with the request to forward it to Lemmy as he had a few questions for 'The Man Himself'. Featured here is that original 2-page e-mail, complete with Lemmy's instructions on the front and a personal message to Geerts written on the back. It was eventually given to Motorhead's tour manager Freddie Lind who kept this letter for posterity. Overall a very cool piece of genuine Lemmy generosity!

This letter comes directly from the personal collection of veteran road/ tour manager and band assistant Freddie Lind, who is best known for his years working directly with Motorhead, Dio and In Flames. A Certificate of Authenticity - signed by Freddie Lind - will be included with this lot.
