In the mid-1980s Eric Carr started his own production and management company called 'Streetgang, Inc'. Among other initiatives, it was used for the launch of his 'Rockheads' comic, as well as his management of the all-female New Jersey heavy-metal band Hari Kari.
Featured here is a great Hari Kari lot, who despite talent, heavy promotion and looks, never got their (inter) national break.
Included are the following collectibles;
* Original press folder that contains an Eric Carr business card, a 2-page press release and five color press photos
* Original concert contract for a September 9, 1988 concert at the Fairleigh Dickinson University, signed by drummer Rene Valentino. Eric hand wrote "Actual Earned $3,000" in blue pen on the contract
* Envelop with original check to Eric Carr for $274.00, which was his cut from the Fairleigh Dickinson University show. The check is signed by Rene Valentino but was never cashed by Eric
* A CD-R that contains a first generation copy of a Hari Kari 4-song demo, as well as a 5-song EP from 1984 from a band by the name 'New York'. Eric sings background vocals on this demo. He also had the intention of managing this band. The last photo featured in this listing is that of Eric and New York in the studio, recording this demo.
All items in this lot are generally in very good condition. These items come directly from the estate of Eric Carr and will be accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
