Offered Here: The New Barbarians 1979 Lot of 6 Black and White Photos. This lot features six black and white photographs of The New Barbarians, including one 8 x 10 inch photo and five 5 x 7 inch photos. The collection captures the essence of the 1979 era of the band.
Additional Information: The New Barbarians was a rock band formed by members of The Rolling Stones, including Ronnie Wood and Keith Richards, to support Wood's third solo album. During their brief existence, they were known for their energetic live performances. The photos likely capture the band at its peak during this period.
Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.
Condition: The photographs are in very good condition with some having pinholes.
