Offered Here: The Grateful Dead 1993-1995 Lot of 8 Unused Backstage Passes

Item Details: Hop on the tour bus and join the ultimate long strange trip with this incredible lot of eight unused, original Grateful Dead backstage passes! Spanning the historic final touring years of 1993 through 1995, this instant collection offers a rare, pristine glimpse into life behind the scenes during the band's legendary sunset era. The passes are in good condition, showing only the completely natural and expected signs of vintage age from their time traveling with the Dead.

Formed in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1965, the Grateful Dead built one of rock's most devoted followings through constant touring, extended improvisation, and a policy of allowing fans to tape their concerts, which fostered the traveling community known as Deadheads. By the early 1990s the band was among the highest-grossing touring acts in the United States, even as Jerry Garcia's health declined. The group played its final concert with Garcia at Chicago's Soldier Field on July 9, 1995, and after his death that August the surviving members retired the Grateful Dead name, closing three decades of near-continuous touring.

Condition: Very good with common signs of age
