Provenance / Authenticity: JSA Authentication BB59050. From a production manager who took the drumhead off Ringo's kit and got Ringo to sign it.

Ringo Starr joined The Beatles in August 1962, and his steady, inventive drumming on recordings such as "Rain," "Ticket to Ride," "Come Together" and "A Day in the Life" helped define the band's sound and influenced generations of rock drummers. His appearances with a Ludwig kit on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1964 drove widespread interest in the drums among young American musicians, and after the group's breakup he scored solo US number-one hits with "Photograph" and "You're Sixteen." Since 1989 he has led Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band, and he has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame both as a member of The Beatles and as a solo artist, and was knighted in 2018 for services to music.

Condition: Used.
