Stevie Ray Vaughan led a revival of blues-based guitar playing in the 1980s, bringing the Texas blues tradition of players like Albert King and the electric fire of Jimi Hendrix to a mainstream rock audience with his band Double Trouble, beginning with the 1983 debut album "Texas Flood." His prominent lead guitar on David Bowie's "Let's Dance" that same year further widened his reach, and his flat-brimmed hats became an enduring part of his stage image. Vaughan died in a helicopter crash in August 1990 after a concert at Alpine Valley in Wisconsin, and he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Double Trouble in 2015.
Condition: Good with uneven wear to the brim, the brim does not sit flat due to storage.
