Each copy is hand-signed by Ross Halfin, numbered 71 out of a limited deluxe run of 650 copies. It is presented in a traditional Japanese style folding case, reflecting its high-production values.
Additional Information: Ross Halfin is known for his extensive work photographing some of the most prominent rock bands since the 1970s, including Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, and Metallica. In "Sojourner," published in 2011, Halfin explores subjects outside his typical rock coverage, capturing natural and cultural scenes around the world. Genesis Publications is recognized for their elaborately produced limited editions, often collaborating with renowned photographers and artists.
Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians, and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.
Condition: The book is in exceptionally good condition, showing very little sign of wear, aging, or storage. The binding is tight, covers are clean, and the pages remain crisp and vibrant. The Japanese style folding case is well-preserved. While this deluxe numbered edition does not include the 8 x 10 inch signed print originally provided, it remains a premier example of Halfin’s work in a highly collectible format.
