Offered Here: Small Faces 1966 - 2013 Lot of 16 Assorted U.S. & European 7"s. This collection comprises 16 assorted 7-inch singles documenting the Small Faces' entire discography. It features a mix of original period pressings and high-quality reissues from U.S. and European labels. Spanning from 1966 to 2013, it encapsulates various phases of the band's career, from their early R&B roots to their psychedelic works and later retrospective releases.
Additional Information: The Small Faces formed in London in 1965 and became leading figures in the mod and psychedelic rock movements of the late 1960s. Notable for hits like "Itchycoo Park" and "Lazy Sunday," the band's influence extended internationally. After initially disbanding in 1969, members, including keyboardist and core member Ian McLagan, continued to shape musical history through collaborations with bands such as The Rolling Stones.
Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan, who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians, and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.
Condition: The records have conditions ranging from excellent new old stock to fair, indicative of their varied ages and usage. The collection shows common signs of wear, aging, and storage consistent with McLagan’s personal use, adding historical significance as they were once owned and handled by the band's founding member.
