Offered Here: Peter Brown 1967 Letter To Keith Moon Regarding Brian Epstein's Death. This lot features an autograph letter penned by Peter Brown, who was a personal assistant to Brian Epstein and later a director at Apple Corps. The letter is addressed to The Who's drummer, Keith Moon, and is dated September 18, 1967. It is written in blue ink on Brian Epstein’s personal stationery, which displays the printed address of 24 Chapel St., London SW1. Brown expresses gratitude for Moon's condolences following Epstein's unexpected death and invites Moon to a screening of John Lennon’s film, How I Won the War. The document is preserved with only two horizontal mailing folds.

Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.
