Released in 1989, Dr. Feelgood was Mötley Crüe's fifth studio album and the band's first to reach number one on the Billboard 200, marking the commercial peak of the Los Angeles glam metal scene they had helped define earlier in the decade. Produced by Bob Rock and recorded after the band members had gotten sober, the album was noted for a heavier, more polished sound than their earlier records and produced lasting rock radio staples including the title track and "Kickstart My Heart." Its success came shortly before grunge and alternative rock reshaped mainstream rock, and it remains one of the defining hard rock records of the late 1980s.
Condition: Good with wear to the frame and scratches to the front of the plex. May show common signs of age, display, and storage.
