Offered Here: Lynyrd Skynyrd 1975-1977 Business Correspondence. This lot comprises a collection of business correspondence from the renowned Southern rock band, Lynyrd Skynyrd. Included are a copy of stage plans for a live show, concert riders, concert requests, legal documents, a copy of a contract for the use of “Sweet Home Alabama” for a compilation album, along with several other rare and previously unseen documents.

Additional Information: During the period of 1975-1977, Lynyrd Skynyrd was at the peak of their commercial success. Their third studio album, “Nuthin’ Fancy,” was released in March 1975 and quickly became a hit, followed by the 1976 release of "Gimme Back My Bullets." The band saw significant popularity in 1977 following the release of "Street Survivors," days before a tragic plane crash. This era captures some of their iconic performances and pivotal moments in Southern rock.

Provenance/Authenticity: From the Capricorn Records collection.

Condition: The documents are in very good condition with some discoloration due to age. The contents include various paper sizes and types, maintaining legibility and structural integrity despite signs of wear associated with age.
