Released in October 1970, Led Zeppelin III marked a deliberate turn toward acoustic and folk-influenced material, much of it developed during Jimmy Page and Robert Plant's stay at the Bron-Yr-Aur cottage in Wales. The album balanced that pastoral side with hard-driving tracks such as "Immigrant Song" and reached No. 1 in both the UK and the US, though its stylistic shift initially puzzled some critics. That broadening of the band's sound laid the groundwork for the blend of acoustic and electric music on their fourth album, and the lineup of Page, Plant, John Paul Jones and John Bonham remained intact until Bonham's death in 1980 ended the group.
Condition: Very good condition with common signs of age, storage, and use. Mild discoloration due to age.
