This double LP set, released under the Music of Distinction label (MOD 1011), encompasses studio outtakes and rare recordings by Keith Richards from the years 1978 to 1981. Featured in the tracklist are intimate acoustic renditions such as Over The Rainbow and Blue Moon, as well as raw studio versions of songs like Little T & A, All About You, and Let’s Go Steady. The recordings offer insight into the creative process during the Some Girls and Tattoo You periods, including instrumental jams and alternate mixes not officially released by the Rolling Stones at the time. Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.
Condition: The two vinyl records are in very good condition, exhibiting light surface marks from handling but maintaining a strong gloss that ensures a quality listening experience. The cardboard sleeve is in good condition, reflecting its age with visible wear, corner dings, and typical signs of aging from storage.
