Offered Here: Keith Moon 1967 Lot of 3 Handwritten Letters From The Road In Late July. This is a collection of three handwritten letters from Keith Moon, the legendary drummer of The Who, to his wife Kim. The letters were penned during the band's significant 1967 U.S. tour with Herman's Hermits and written on vintage hotel stationery from Florida and Alabama. These letters provide a glimpse into the personal life of the 21-year-old musician, detailing his experiences on tour while conveying his affection for his family.

Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists.
