Offered Here: KISS 1970s-1990s Stage Used Touring Marshall Speaker Cabinet
Item Details: This legendary piece of rock history is a Marshall 4 x 12 speaker cabinet used on stage by KISS throughout their touring years from the 1970s into the 1990s. Serving as a backbone for the band's massive wall of sound, this road-ready cabinet features an official KISS inventory sticker inside the handle and the iconic band logo stenciled in silver paint across the back. It measures roughly 30 by 30 by 14 inches and carries an undeniable presence that reflects decades of arena rock performances.
Provenance / Authenticity: Sold in 2001 through the official Lelands KISS Auction
KISS formed in New York City in 1973 and built its reputation on a live show that combined face paint and costumes with pyrotechnics, fire-breathing and elaborate staging, an approach that shaped expectations for arena rock production. The 1975 concert album Alive! gave the band its commercial breakthrough, and its career spanned the 1983 unmasking and the 1996 reunion tour of the original lineup in full makeup. KISS was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014, and its walls of Marshall amplification were a familiar part of the hard rock concert image across those decades.
Condition: The cabinet remains in good overall condition but exhibits heavy signs of authentic stage use, aging, and storage. Most notably, the vinyl covering shows plentiful nicks and tears accumulated from years of transport and performance, which enhances its rugged, road-worn cosmetic appeal.
