Offered Here: Ian McLagan 1979 - 2014 Lot of 5 Ian McLagan Solo Records. This collection includes five albums from Ian McLagan's personal archives, illustrating his solo career development. It features his 1979 debut album 'Troublemaker' and its rare promotional 12-inch disc 'Little Troublemaker', the 1981 album 'Bump In The Night', a sealed promo cut copy of the 1985 EP 'Last Chance To Dance', and his final studio album 'United States' from 2014 with the Bump Band.
Additional Information: Ian McLagan, known for his work with The Small Faces and Faces, began his solo career with the album "Troublemaker" in 1979. This album set the stage for his subsequent works and collaborations with various artists throughout his career. In 1981, McLagan released "Bump In The Night," reflecting his continued musical evolution. His 1985 EP "Last Chance To Dance" was a notable release, while "United States" in 2014 marked his enduring influence and collaboration with the Bump Band.
Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.
Condition: All records are in very good or better condition with minor signs of wear, aging, or storage. The 1985 EP remains sealed and preserved in its original packaging despite the promotional cut. The 2014 pressing retains much of its original luster, indicating careful maintenance by the artist throughout his life.
