Offered Here: Ian McLagan 1970s - 2010s Steinway Sign With Photo. This lot includes a dual-sided stage sign used by the renowned keyboardist Ian McLagan. Crafted from wood, the sign measures approximately 8.5 x 22.5 x .5 inches. One side features a black finish with "Steinway" hand-painted on it, while the reverse is adorned with red gaffer tape and features the word "Hammond" to match McLagan's red Hammond organ. An approximately 12-inch square color photograph showing Ian McLagan with the sign in the background is also included.

Additional Information: Ian McLagan was a pivotal figure in the rock scene, particularly noted for his work with the bands The Small Faces and Faces, where he contributed to the classic rock sound between the 1970s and 2010s. Known for his skill on the keyboard, McLagan played alongside legendary acts such as The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians, and Bob Dylan, further solidifying his reputation in the music industry.

Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.

Condition: The sign is in very good condition, with both its black and red finishes well-preserved. The dimensions are approximately 8.5 x 22.5 x .5 inches. The accompanying photograph is in fine condition, displaying Ian McLagan with the sign in a performance setting.
