Offered Here: Ian McLagan 1960s - 1980s Oversized Photo Lot Including Bill Wyman Signed Limited Edition Print. This lot contains eight oversized photos featuring Ian McLagan and the Faces. There is a 20 x 16 color photo of Ian McLagan, signed by Bill Wyman and taken by Bill Wyman himself, which is part of a limited edition of 50 prints. Additionally, the lot includes two 15 x 20 black and white prints on heavy stock paper, a 11 x 14 color photo print of Ian, a 12 x 17 heavy stock paper print of Ian, an 11 x 12 color photo of Ian on stage with piano showing edge wear, an 11 x 11 black and white thin photo stock print with pinholes, and a 9 x 12 black and white heavy stock paper print.
Additional Information: Ian McLagan was an integral member of The Faces, a band formed in 1969 after Steve Marriott left Small Faces and was replaced by Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood. McLagan's contributions on keyboard were essential to the band's energetic live performances and studio recordings throughout the 1970s. The Faces are remembered for their lively concerts and hits like "Stay with Me." Bill Wyman, known as the bassist for The Rolling Stones, is an accomplished photographer, and his photographs capture a unique perspective of the rock scene.
Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.
Condition: The prints are in very good condition, though some exhibit edge wear, pinholes, or discoloration due to age. Each photo retains its visual integrity and showcases the vibrant history of Ian McLagan and the Faces.
