This spectacular solid-body electric delivers that unmistakable, legendary Les Paul punch with a lighter, highly resonant chambered mahogany body topped with a breathtaking maple cap, a classic mahogany set neck, and a smooth rosewood fingerboard. Coming in very good condition, this rock powerhouse is hand-signed in bold black marker by Guns 'N Roses guitar god Slash himself, complete with his iconic signature inscription that reads "R & Fn' R!" to capture the true spirit of heavy metal history. Slash rose to prominence as lead guitarist of Guns N' Roses, whose 1987 debut Appetite for Destruction became one of the best-selling debut albums of all time and brought a raw, blues-rooted hard rock sound back to the mainstream at the height of the glam metal era. His riffs and solos on songs such as "Sweet Child o' Mine," "Welcome to the Jungle" and "Paradise City," played largely on a Les Paul-style guitar through Marshall amplification, are widely credited with renewing interest in the Gibson Les Paul among a new generation of players. Slash has had a long association with Gibson, including numerous signature models, and has continued recording and touring with Velvet Revolver, his solo projects with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, and the reunited Guns N' Roses, who were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012.
