Offered Here: Gene Simmons Owned, Signed, Modified & Played 1995 First Prototype Signature Punisher Bass. This bass is Gene Simmons's personally owned prototype of his signature Punisher bass, delivered to him for playtesting and modification before production commenced. Simmons made annotations directly on the guitar, including instructions to add another knob and toggle button, signed the headstock, and identified it as the #1 prototype of the Punisher bass. This instrument marks the genesis of one of Simmons's most iconic bass designs.
Additional Information: Gene Simmons, co-founder of the rock band KISS, is known for his theatrical performances and distinctive bass guitar style. The Punisher bass, with its distinctive shape and design, became a signature instrument for Simmons, prominently used during concerts and promotional events.
