This collection includes original color negatives containing 43 frames of images depicting The Faces at various locations including the airport, on tour, and within city settings, along with candid shots. The negatives are provided with a printout and are intended solely for collectible purposes without transferring rights for sale, publication, or distribution.
Additional Information: During the 1970s, The Faces, fronted by Rod Stewart, gained international acclaim with their raucous live shows and chart-topping hits. As a prominent rock band of the era, they toured extensively, drawing significant attention in both their home country of the United Kingdom and abroad. Their boisterous performances and energetic tours were a hallmark of the band's successful career during this decade.
Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.
