Founded by members of the Small Faces, the band included influential musicians like Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood. During this period, they gained popularity for their energetic live performances and albums such as "A Nod Is As Good As a Wink... to a Blind Horse," which was released in 1971 and became highly popular in the UK and the US.
Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.
Condition: The collection is in very good condition, though the photos range in shades of black and white and exhibit varying degrees of wear. Some photographs may display discoloration due to age, alongside other typical signs of wear from handling and use.
