Offered Here: Edward Van Halen 2012 Autographed & Personalized Black EVH Wolfgang Guitar. This black EVH Wolfgang guitar is autographed and personalized by Edward Van Halen, with an inscription in gold marker reading, "Happy '400' Nick!!" to commemorate Nick D'Andrea's 400th live Van Halen show on March 1, 2012. While it was not played on the night of the show, this guitar was owned and used by Edward Van Halen and features dual humbuckers, tone and volume knobs, and a selector switch. It shows definite use with scratches below the strings between the pickups. The guitar is accompanied by a TSA002 ABS hard shell plush lined EVH case.
Additional Information: Edward Van Halen began using the EVH Wolfgang guitar line during tours in the late 2000s and early 2010s. The guitar was designed by Eddie and is known for its innovative design, which includes quality hardware and a unique look preferred by Van Halen. His 2012 tour marked part of a resurgence in performances promoting the album "A Different Kind of Truth."
Provenance/Authenticity: For over forty years, Nick D’Andrea was more than a fan—he was a fixture in the Van Halen inner circle. Dubbed the "#1 Van Halen Guy" by the band members themselves, D’Andrea’s collection was built through a deep personal friendship with the Van Halen family. With a veteran history of 400+ shows, D’Andrea’s archive represents a rare, direct pipeline to the band, featuring items gifted to him throughout their legendary career. A Steve Grade Letter of Authenticity is included for the autographs.
Condition: The guitar is in excellent condition with wear from use, indicative of its stage performance history. It is provided as-is, and it comes with an EVH TSA002 ABS hard shell plush travel case.
