Offered Here: Eagles 1980 American Music Award Statue. This official American Music Award was presented to the Eagles in 1980, recognizing their achievement as Favorite Pop/Rock Band, Duo, or Group. The award features a classic, sleek design with a soaring clear Lucite pyramid on a substantial, opaque black base, standing approximately 14 1/4 inches in height with a 4 1/2 inch square base.

Additional Information: In 1980, the Eagles were at the height of their success, following the release of their "The Long Run" album in 1979. The band was celebrated not only for their harmonies but also for their lasting influence on the rock genre. This award represents a significant period in their career when they were a dominant force in the music industry.

Condition: The trophy is in very good condition, with minor surface wear indicative of age and handling over the years. There is a structural flaw at the apex where the very tip and a small quarter inch sliver of the Lucite pyramid are chipped. Despite this, the black base remains solid, and the overall visual integrity of the award is well preserved.
