Ronnie James Dio, who sang with Elf, Rainbow and Black Sabbath before launching his own band, Dio, in 1982, became one of heavy metal's most influential vocalists and is widely credited with popularizing the "devil horns" hand gesture among metal fans. The band's third studio album, Sacred Heart (1985), was supported by one of the most ambitious stage productions of the era, featuring a large mechanical dragon that reflected the fantasy imagery central to Dio's songwriting. Throughout this period the band's career was guided by Wendy Dio, Ronnie's wife and manager, whose Niji Management oversaw his work and who later became a prominent steward of his legacy.
Condition: Very good, lightly worn
