Offered Here: Black Sabbath 2007 Autographed The Dio Years Mounted Poster
Item Details: This extraordinary Black Sabbath 2007 "The Dio Years" promotional poster is an elite piece of heavy metal memorabilia, hand-signed by the band's complete, legendary second-era lineup. Celebrating the definitive compilation album that chronicled the band's historic work with their iconic frontman, this impressive piece is autographed in vibrant gold pen by the late Ronnie James Dio, guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, and drummer Vinny Appice. Professionally mounted to a durable, thin komatex material, the display-ready piece measures approximately 32 x 12 inches.
Ronnie James Dio's arrival in Black Sabbath in 1979, replacing Ozzy Osbourne, revitalized the band with the album Heaven and Hell (1980), whose more melodic and epic approach influenced a generation of heavy metal bands. The Dio Years, released in 2007, gathered material from Heaven and Hell, Mob Rules, Live Evil and Dehumanizer, along with three new songs recorded by Dio, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Vinny Appice. The new recordings led this lineup to reunite under the name Heaven & Hell, touring and releasing the album The Devil You Know (2009) before Dio's death in 2010.
Condition: Very good.
