Offered Here: Anthrax 1984 Dan Spitz Worn Fistful of Metal U.S. Attack Tour Shirt. This historic piece of heavy metal memorabilia is an authentic 1984 Anthrax U.S. Attack tour shirt that was personally owned and worn by Dan Spitz, the band's lead guitarist. Originating from the tour supporting their debut album 'Fistful of Metal,' this shirt was printed on vintage Fruit of the Loom fabric. Hand-modified with cut-off sleeves and collar, and cropped at the bottom, it reflects the thrash metal movement's aesthetic. The shirt’s laid-flat measurements are about 15 inches across the chest by 17 inches in length. Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the personal collection of Lianna Spitz, daughter of legendary original Anthrax lead guitarist Dan Spitz. Serving as the lead axeman for the band during their golden era from 1983 to 1995, and again during the highly anticipated classic lineup reunion tours from 2005 to 2008, Spitz was a primary creative force behind the band's multi-platinum and Grammy-nominated catalog. This item comes with impeccable family lineage and will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity. Condition: The shirt is in good to very good vintage condition and presents beautifully given its extensive history and age. It exhibits common signs of wear, natural aging, and storage, enhancing its historical character. The custom modifications are intact, and the fabric and graphics remain stable, marking it as a collectible from the band's formative era. SKU: LSC1007
