If collecting vintage R & B memorabilia is your thing than you're going to love this lot! Included are original press photos from the 1960s and 1970s of Brooke Benton, Bobby Lewis, Dee Dee Sharp, Johnny Mathis, Little Richard, King Holiday, Bill Withers and Dionne Warwicke.
Also included is a rare 1970 Stevie wonder press release with matching publicity photo.
Last but not least is a small media folder with approximately 3 dozen news clippings of Whitney Houston (mid 1980s mostly) and a 1995 complete press kit of the 9th Annual Soul Train Music Awards, containing 10 inserts and biographies and 2 photos, featuring Diana Ross, Patti Labelle, Anita Baker and others).
A small number of these 8 x 10 inch photos has - in some capacity or another - been used for publication in 16 Magazine and bears the usual production signs such as measurement indicators, 'chalk-lines' and (red) pencil markings. Some of these appear in the white borders, others affect the actual photo. For the most part however, the photos are unmarked and generally in excellent condition. All photos are printed on professional photo paper and are first generation prints.
