This is a great lot for collectors of unique and rare acetates and test pressings.
For starters, the lot contains two great 7-inch test pressings of "Miles Away" by Fotomaker from respectively September 30, 1978 and October 1, 1978 (produced by the legendary Eddie Kramer). Both singles are in NM condition.
Next is an exceptionally rare 4-song acetate from San Francisco's power pop band (Paul Collins) The Beat, dated August 1, 1980. The acetate contains "Gloria" and two versions of "Crying Won't Help", which would eventually appear on the bands' 1981 "The Kids Are The Same" LP. Also on the acetate - which is in excellent condition - is an unreleased song titled "On The Highway".
Last but not least is a full album test pressing from 1981 by American pop signer/ songwriter Michael Wilson, which we believe has never been commercially released. This rare album is in excellent condition. |
