Presented here is the original artwork for the album cover of 'The History of Vancouver Rock & Roll, Volume Four', which was released in 1991.
The artwork itself measures 22 x 22 inches and is a stark reminder of the wonderful and ever so recognizable designs of the (psychedelic) 1960s. The black & white artwork has two separate transparent overlays which both contains the 'red' coatings. The entire ensemble comes on a heavy backing board and is nothing short of sensational.
Also included is a smaller (13 x 13 inch) design for this very same album cover artwork which was the first 'prototype' and ultimately formed the very basis for the 'final' design. This smaller piece has been professionally matted. The dimensions of the matting are 16 x 20 inches.
Both pieces have been hand signed by Bob Masse and are generally in excellent condition. Once professionally framed, these awesome pieces of art will make for great conversation pieces (and the envy of many fellow collectors). |
