Bob Masse designed this fantastic artwork for the 1996 Smashing Pumpkins tour at a time the band was at the commercial peak. This dynamic lot contains three wonderful pieces;
- The original final and full color artwork for the poster, which measures 18 1/2 x 24 1/4 inches. The artwork has been carefully attached with masking tape to a backing board.
- Before production printing of this poster would commence, Bob Masse made printers' proof sheets to see if minor adjustments or alterations in the work had to be made before the production run was approved. Because only few of these proofs were made (and never publicly sold), they have become quite desirable to collectors. The sheet as featured in this lot measures 19 x 25 1/2 inches.
- Last but not least is an original poster, which measure 12 3/4 x 24 1/2 inches.
All three pieces in this wonderful Smashing Pumpkins collection are hand signed by Bob Masse with a fine silver marker and are overall in pristine condition. Just imagine these items professionally matted and framed donning your wall! |
