This great-looking handbill was designed by an artist named Armando and used to promote an Eric Burdon & The Animals show at the legendary Whisky a Go-Go in Los Angeles (July 5-8, 1968). The image is a dragon-like creature with a serpent for a tail. The bright colors and great design combine to make this a very popular and hard-to-find handbill. The original handbill (AOR 3.59) was printed on white paper and measure 8 ½ x 11 inches.
This rare handbill is overall in EX- condition. The back of the handbill shows two tiny tape removal spots. The surface shows a few ever so slight creases. |
