First off is the final - and full color - original artwork by Bob Masse for the 2001 Black Crowes Austin, TX concert poster.
The artwork itself measures 16 x 24 inches. It has been carefully attached with masking tape to a backing board, which makes this impressive and highly desirable collectible ready for framing and display.
Before production printing of his posters would commence, Bob Masse made printers' proof sheets to see if minor adjustments or alterations in the work had to be made before the production run was approved. Because only few of these proofs were made (and never publicly sold), they have become quite desirable to collectors. The sheet as featured in this lot measures 19 x 25 1/2 inches.
Also included is an original concert poster (24 1/2 x 13 1/4 inches). The condition of these majestic pieces is pristine and all have been handsomely signed by Bob Masse. |
